The Top Android Downloads Of 2014
Seeing as it’s the end of the year, Google have decided to reveal which apps on their Google Play store service reached the most downloads.
Unsurprisingly streaming services Netflix and Pandora were the most popular apps in their respective categories, whilst Facebook led the way as the most downloaded social networking application.
Another unsurprising result is that Candy Crush Saga was the most popular game for Android users in 2014, with MyFitnessPal being the most downloaded health and fitness app in Google Play store.
The most popular film download was Disney cartoon Frozen, which was also the most downloaded soundtrack by Android users. The most downloaded TV show was The Walking Dead. For the full list of apps included in the lists, check out the official Android blog.
