The oven: Problem time

Perhaps the most daunting aspect of coming home after a long stressful day is facing the oven and cooking a nutritious meal; of course there is always the microwave as an option, the steamer, the toaster, the grill, the deep fat frier, or cooking on the hob. But who honestly has time for all that when they are tired and hungry; might as well just order a take away instead.

Though it’s a lot easier and less time consuming to just use the oven; remember the power of frozen. You can just get something simple and pre-packaged from the freezer and put it in the oven; within 30 – 40 minutes you will have your food, and just have to take it out, serve it to yourself or loved one(s) and off you go.

As for the time problem, it won’t really matter as when you come back from a long stressful day you will have a few things to do before you sit down anyway, so putting on the oven, and putting the food in, then setting the timer will only take a few minutes. So when you have finished with other things and are ready to sit down and be a couch potato, your food will be ready and you can sit down to eat it in front of the telly.

Thus saving money overall; you will have to wait for the take away’s to come also so your losing money on take away’s, and saving it on cooking in the oven.
