Google Nexus Player Releasing This Week?
According to an Amazon listing, Google’s Nexus Player console is to be released this week (March 26th). Etched in for a launch on Thursday, Amazon advertised the price at £80. The listing has since been pulled.
Manufactured by ASUS, the Nexus Player was designed to run games from Google’s Play Store, media apps such as BBC iPlayer and Netflix, whilst running on Android software.
In terms of specification, the console comes with 8GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, whilst also including a Bluetooth remote which can voice search.
Released in the US in November, the Nexus Player has been widely acclaimed, with many praising the fact there are no restrictions on the device.
